Cook Recital Hall, MUN School of Music, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra’s Sinfonia 3 - Spring Comes Dancing - featuring special guest Stephen Candow (see below) will now take place at Cochrane Street United Church, at 8:00pm on Saturday, March 8. Dance Into Spring with the NSO Sinfonia
Come celebrate the eventual arrival of spring with the NSO Sinfonia and organist Stephen Candow. Featuring performances of Grant’s Spring Came Dancing, Schubert’s Symphony No. 5, B-flat Major, D. 485, and Poulenc’s hauntingly beautiful Concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings.

Kelly-Ann Evans takes to the stage with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra for a salute to Barbra, Bette, Céline, and Shania in The Main Event: The Ladies of Vegas. Evans, no stranger to local audiences, has appeared at the Stratford Festival and in the Toronto premiere of Queen's smash hit musical We Will Rock You. Proudly presented by Husky Energy, The Main Event takes place at the St. John's Arts & Culture Centre at 8:00pm on Friday, March 28.
